Black Strap Mollasses skincare cleanser/mask
I’ve not blogged for a little while and suprisingly I’ve missed it!
I’ve been trying out something I came across a few weeks ago and with quite good results….MOLLASSES!
Yep, black strap mollasses.
I’ve been using it alternately with my oil cleansing routine as my skin was really dehydrated likely from the erratic weather we’ve been having.
Anyway, I tried the mollasses plain on its own first but didn’t quite like the feel.
Then started to mix half a teaspoon of mollasses with a teaspoon of natural yogurt. Now and then I add in some ground oatmeal.
I use the oil cleansing method to get off my makeup if I’ve been wearing any and if not, still use it anyway. Then on damp skin, slather on the mollases and yogurt mix.
I leave this for a few mins-usually about 10 and then wash it off while in the shower.
I then use my sheabutter mix on my face.
My skin feels soft, smooth and does get that tight feeling after this.

I’ve read around the internet that Mollasses supposedly is good for you internally as well especially if you are looking to up your iron levels…I have not done much research into this so not really pushing it for that…
I did taste the mix I use for my skin and it does taste okay but wayyy too sweet for me. It reminds me somewhat of liquorice.
